ACIC–KL Startups Foundation Explores Smart Irrigation Technology at Bharathi Photon Irrigation Systems on 11th March 2026.

We are pleased to share that Mr. Ramankanth Vallabhaneni, CEO of ACIC KL Startups Foundation , along with the incubation team, recently visited Bharathi Photon Irrigation Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Bobbepalli, Andhra Pradesh, to observe an innovative agri-technology developed by founder Mr. Kilaru Vamsi.

During the visit, the team observed the “Comprehensive Farm Automation Device” - A Smart Irrigation system designed to monitor soil moisture and automate irrigation processes in agricultural fields. Inserted 1 to 1.5 meters deep into the soil, the device continuously measures moisture levels required for healthy crop growth.

Integrated directly with the field water pump, the system automatically activates irrigation when soil moisture falls below the optimal range and switches off the pump once the required moisture level is achieved ensuring efficient water utilization and preventing over-irrigation.

The ACIC–KL incubation team observed the working principles and operational functionality of the innovation and offered valuable insights on how such technologies can improve irrigation efficiency and promote sustainable farming practices.

An interactive meeting with nearby farmers was also organized, where Mr. K.Vamsi demonstrated how this smart irrigation solution can increase crop yield, optimize water usage, and improve time efficiency in farm operations. The ACIC–KL team actively engaged with farmers and discussed the practical benefits of this technology.
