ACIC-KL Startup Foundation Organizes Capacity Building Program on Solar Drying at Women Tech Park, Vaddeswaram

On 20th March 2025, the ACIC-KL Startup Foundation organized a one-day Capacity Building Program on Solar Drying at the Women Tech Park, Vaddeswaram. The event was a resounding success, empowering participants with knowledge and skills in sustainable food preservation techniques.
The program featured an enlightening session by Mr. KURAPATI NAGESWARA RAO. Garu, explained the solar drying process and its wide-ranging applications. He emphasized the importance of dehydrated products, their uses in foreign markets, and their versatility across industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. Participants learned how solar drying can extend shelf life, reduce food waste, and create economic opportunities, especially for women entrepreneurs.

Through interactive discussions and Q&A sessions, participants gained hands-on knowledge and explored the potential of solar drying as a sustainable and cost-effective solution. The event also highlighted the role of women in driving innovation and adopting eco-friendly technologies.
