Exploring Innovative Approaches to Sustainable Resin Oil Extraction

On 30th December 2024, ACIC KL Startups Foundation conducted an insightful outreach visit to Serrata Essentials in Vijayawada. The interaction provided a detailed understanding of the sustainable collection and processing of tree resin from tribal and forest areas. The team at Serrata Essentials shared how approximately 30 kg of tree resin or gum is required to extract 1 liter of resin oil, with raw materials sourced from Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.
