Printing Innovations & Sustainable Business Opportunities

On 5th March 2025, the ACIC KL Startups Foundation team visited a printing facility in Vijayawada to explore screen printing and sublimation printing, while also identifying sustainable business opportunities by integrating traditional skills with modern printing techniques.

Mr. MUNDRATHI SAIKIRAN Sai Kiran, Technical & Outreach Manager, and Mr. KURAPATI NAGESWARA RAO, Technical & Outreach Associate, interacted with the printing team to understand the technical differences and potential applications of these methods.

🔹 Sublimation Printing – A digital process where ink transitions from solid to gas, bonding with materials for vibrant, durable prints.
🔹 Screen Printing – A traditional method where ink is pushed through a stencil, ideal for bold, high-volume production.

By leveraging these techniques, entrepreneurs can create eco-friendly, small-scale businesses such as customized merchandise and décor, promoting sustainable livelihoods and innovation-driven business models.
