Supporting Farmer-Led Innovation - ACIC–KL CEO Visits Organic Farming Initiative of Mr. P. Sarath Babu on 11th March 2026.

We are pleased to share that Mr. Ramankanth Vallabhaneni, CEO of ACIC–KL Startups Foundation, along with the ACIC–KL team, visited the organic farming initiative of Mr. P. Sarath Babu, an innovative agripreneur dedicated to natural and sustainable agriculture.

During the visit, the team toured Mr. P. Sarath Babu’s farm, where they observed his sustainable cultivation practices carried out on his own land. Having left his professional career to pursue his passion for farming, he has spent the past 12 years practicing organic agriculture, demonstrating how eco-friendly methods can produce healthy, chemical-free crops while preserving the environment.

A key highlight of the farm is the self-sustaining ecosystem he has developed. By rearing cattle on the farm, he produces organic manure and natural fertilizers that are directly used for crop cultivation. This integrated approach ensures a completely organic and environmentally responsible farming system.

Mr. P. Sarath Babu also actively engages in plant research and the adoption of modern agricultural technologies, combining traditional knowledge with innovative techniques to improve crop productivity and quality. His work in plant research and agripreneurial innovation has earned him multiple awards and recognitions.

Following the farm visit, the ACIC–KL Incubation team also visited his organic retail outlets i.e., “Krishi Jivan” and “Gandiva.” Here, the produce grown on the farm is sold directly to consumers, creating a strong farm-to-consumer model that promotes fresh, naturally grown food and supports sustainable farming practices.

Initiatives like these highlight the growing importance of farmer-led innovation, sustainable agriculture, and environmentally responsible food systems, inspiring more individuals to adopt eco-friendly and technology-enabled farming practices.
